Where did you move from and what made you make the move to Maine?

I moved from Burlington, VT in 2018. I always knew I wanted to live in Portland so that I could be near the ocean in the perfect size city.

How do you spend your time here in Maine?

I spend my time on the water or out with friends. I love exploring the mystical Maine coastline. You can also catch me hiking in the interior mountains on occasion, too.

What do you love about working in Maine?

I love the sense of community I feel while working in Maine. As a self-employed individual, I find that networking is easy because the people here are just that NICE and they genuinely want to support small businesses!

What do you love about living in Maine?

I love the sense of work-life balance. Mainers work hard, but they also take The 'vacation' part of Vacationland seriously.

Tell us a bit about your story!

I grew up north of Boston, but my family always had a home in Harpswell, ME. Spending so much time here as a kid, I always knew I wanted to end up in Southern or Midcoast Maine. When I moved to Portland in 2018, I was able to find a corporate design job and settle in to life in Maine. When the pandemic hit, I had enough of a network and safety net to go out on my own and start my own business. Fast forward three years and I feel so fortunate to be able to work directly with small, local businesses and meet some of the wonderful people who take up space in this amazing state!
