Tell us a bit about your story!
My Mom is from Aroostook County, my Dad is from Connecticut. They met on a catwalk at Pratt and Whitney in 1967 and married 5 months later. In 1980 they moved me and my brother to Presque Isle and we stayed. I received my degree at the Northern Maine Community College. I was employed in Human Resources in healthcare, corporate and municipal government for about 20 years, spent 5 years in Workforce Development, now I serve as the Executive Director for the Central Aroostook Chamber of Commerce. My husband, originally from Fort Fairfield, retired from the Airforce after serving our country for 22 years, married me in 2012 and we live in Fort Fairfield. My husband is a Project Manager for the local power company. Between the two of us, we have 5 grown children and 7 grandchildren. We are embedded in our communities and love our area. We choose this beautiful quality of life.
